Debate Club

In debate club students take on social and political issues, work to understand them, and build arguments supported by researched evidence. Students practice active listening while challenging ideas maturely and effectively. Debate club is run by students. Students choose the topics, run the discussions, and maintain respect between everyone, and Mr. Crawford is there to make sure everyone stays safe. Debate club meets every other Thursday during lunch in Mr. Crawford’s room, 222.
