Welcome to Lakenheath High School

HOME OF THE "LANCERS"

What an exciting time to be a part of DoDEA and the Lancer family. We are part of the DoDEA Europe-West District which consists of 19 schools located in 4 countries. Lakenheath High School is the #1 of the three "true" 9-12 high schools within our district.

The vision of our school encourages all students to grow in personal responsibility which prepares our students for greater accomplishments and achieving goals. LHS stands for “Learning with High Standards” and with your dedication, our school will be an even more rewarding place to achieve academic success. Our curriculum and instruction is based on rigor and the DoDEA-Europe BIG 4 goals that are aligned with College and Career Readiness. Our focus is on our students and learning by providing a wide-range of courses to meet the needs of each student. Each and every one of us works diligently to ensure that every student is prepared for the next level; whether it is 10th grade, college, the military or the workforce.

An invitation is extended to everyone to become involved in our student activities at Lakenheath High School. Students have the opportunities at Lakenheath High School that they would have not where else. We offer a variety of school organizations and athletics. Research has shown that as students become more involved in their school activities, their grades improve, or are maintained at a higher level.

We wish you a highly successful and rewarding school year at Lakenheath High School. As a TEAM: students, faculty, parents, community members and administrators will work together to ensure that all students achieve high academics and that all have success at LHS.

May is National Speech-Language-Hearing Month - a time to recognize the importance of communication and to honor the professionals who make it possible for so many students to find their voice. Across the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) schools, Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) play a vital role in supporting student success, regardless of location, language, or need. Though separated by oceans and time zones, DoDEA SLPs have found a powerful way to stay connected and collaborate through a Microsoft TEAMS group that spans the globe.
