National Honor Society (NHS)

The NHS is an honor organization composed of students who best represent the ideals of character, leadership, scholarship, and service. To be eligible for membership, a student must be in grades 10-12, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.75, and be enrolled at Lakenheath High School the equivalent of one semester. Transfers from other schools may be accepted into the Lakenheath High School chapter provided the student submits documentation of membership. All students who are eligible scholastically will be invited by the NHS sponsor to submit a data sheet asking for examples of leadership and service. Actual selections will be made by a majority vote of a five-member faculty council.
