Spring Season - Baseball, Softball, Track, Boys and Girls Soccer

Required Documents: Yearly physical, must maintain a 2.0 GPA or above with no more than 1 F's at any time; 10 practice dates before first competition. Eligibility lists are pulled from the grades in the gradebook Tuesday COB.

Baseball

Baseball tryouts are the 1st week in March. Off-season work can be done to support a successful program. Games will be held at the baseball field behind LHS. We look forward to welcoming everyone out.

Boys Soccer

Boys soccer is a D1 sport. We play D1 DoDEA teams such as Ramstein, K-town, Wiesbaden, Vilseck, and Stuttgart. We finish the season by having a tournament involving two pools of 5 DI teams. The semifinal games are teams from the two pools playing against each other. The finals are the best two teams from the semifinals. We have been in the final game twice in the last seven years.

Girls Soccer

At Lakenheath High School, the girls soccer program strives to be the best and provide an opportunity for all those who desire to participate in soccer at an interscholastic level. One of the most outstanding experiences for a soccer player is the challenge and that moment of truth faced in actual competition. All those who participate will be involved in competition. Fireball enthusiasm, 110 percent effort, and high goals are expected. We expect our soccer players to accept victory with gracefulness and defeat with dignity. Soccer players are expected to be responsible, make decisions, accept challenges, and show respect for others. Attendance at practice and observance of training rules are required.

Softball

The first practice for softball is usually the first week of March and goes until the end of May. The games are scheduled against DoDEA D1 teams and home games occur at a softball field behind LHS.  If you enjoy the game of softball or just want to learn more about the game please come join us.
