LHS Closed for National Day of Mourning

All DoDEA schools will be closed on Thursday, January 9th.

President  Biden has declared this day a National Day of Mourning in honor of the late former President Jimmy Carter. As part of this proclamation, all federal offices will be closed, and flags will be flown at half-staff to commemorate his legacy.

We understand that this closure may cause some inconvenience, and we appreciate your understanding as our nation observes this time of reflection and remembrance.
