Football Home Game
Dear Lancer Fans,
As our second regular season of football closes and we move into the playoffs at our new field, some issues have arisen that need to be addressed for the safety of all involved. Children playing with football equipment behind the end zone can lead to serious injury and damage to football equipment. There was an incident last week where two children collided and led to an injury of one of the children. There is also the trash that is left behind consistently by people in that area leading to volunteers staying afterwards to clean up the trash. We ask that children play towards the back of the field at Liberty Pavilion.
As we move on to the playoff game, it is important that we all understand the appropriate seating areas. We understand that there is limited seating at the field and we are actively working with our military partners on remedying the situation. We ask that fans stay off the field and sit in designated areas. Fans should not be seated anywhere on the field for the safety of our players and fans. We will be marking off areas in the back two lanes of the track that are available for families who wish to bring their own seating. In this high visibility game, it is important that all parties involved understand the rules regarding the field as we move forward in this high-stake game. We appreciate your attention to this matter and know that we all have the common goal of rooting on our football team in a safe and responsible way. Go Lancers!
